Our Story

Family

Traditions – when I was a teenager - I remember scoffing at traditions my mother thought important. Today not only do I use many of the same brands of products my mother used such as laundry detergent and toothpaste but I would also never think of letting Christmas Eve go by without having fish (since I’m only half Italian we only have 3 or 4 different kinds instead of the traditional 7). And of course there’s the Christmas cookies that were so traditional every year for as long as I can remember.

Luckily when I was growing up I was fortunate enough to have my mother share her baking secrets with me and when she passed on several years ago I picked up the “tradition” of making Christmas cookies for our cherished friends and family. Now I’m sharing the tradition with my own daughter and eventually my granddaughter who hopefully will carry my mother’s legacy on. Now we invite you to partake in our time honored tradition all year round in Generations of Cookies!!!
